Renew a “Current” (Non-Expired) Guard Car

BSIS Training Requirement:

All Student must Completed a 8 Hrs. continuing education (CE) training annually in order to renew your guard card.

All courses are provided in person in our office.

1.Buy this Package Complete the Class

A.     POWERS TO ARREST    (3 hours)

B.      APPROPRIATE USE OF FORCE      (5 hours)

1.      Legal standards for use of force;

2.      Use of objectively reasonable force; – IN PERSON

3.      Duty to intercede;

4.      Supervisory responsibilities;

5.      Use of force review & analysis;

6.      De-escalation & interpersonal communication training.

7.      Implicit & explicit bias & cultural competency.

8.      Skills, including de-escalation techniques, to interact with people with disabilities/behavioral health issues;

9.      Use of force scenarios;

10.  Mental health & policing;

11.  Active shooter situations;
